My partner and kids got to the gate on time. I was stuck back in TSA so they went on ahead without me.
When they got to the gate my partner informed the Aeromexico folks that I was gonna be a minute. They said they could wait for me for five minutes, but then two minutes later the gate folks just closed the gate and said none of us could board the plane.
I obviously got there late but my family didnt! Instead of just buying one ticket (for myself) we had to buy six more!!

I'm giving a '4' because it took me so long (2 1/2 hours!) with WhatsApp to get it worked out, mostly because the response times were so long. My problem was that I couldn't complete the missing personal information items online in order to proceed to checking in.
The web page wouldn't let me submit the information, nor would the Aeromexico app. Finally, it was suggested that I download the AMX 2.0 app, and that worked. I was able to submit the info and then check in. Also, no one could answer what one category meant.
I forget the name, but what was wanted was my FMM number and the 'fecha de expiración' was the date of my flight out of the country.
I figured this out myself. Even though I asked repeatedly, I was never provided with the correct answer.

Verified Reviewer |CHECK-IN AGENT FORGETS TO GIVE ME THE SECOND BOARDING PASS!
Heres what you can expect on Aeromexico:
I was flying from MIAMI to MEXICO CITY to ACAPULCO.
I paid for 2 bags, but the check-in agent FORGOT to give me the receipt for the second bag. I asked him for the missing receipt and ONLY then did he give it to me.
He offered no apology! He acted as if he had done nothing wrong!
The agent also FORGOT to give me the boarding pass for the MEXICO CITY to ACAPULCO segment. I had a layover of less than 1.5 hours. The flight was late leaving MIAMI.
Then, the Miami/Mexico City flight sat on the tarmac in Mexico City waiting for a gate, as usual, for too many minutes.
I had to check-in AGAIN for the MEXICO CITY to ACAPULCO flight. This time, I had 10 minutes to get to the gate. I hurried through Security and RAN to the gate.
I was the LAST one!
The Aeromexico check-in agent in Miami could only do 20% of his job!
If youre planning on flying Aeromexico, WATCH those check-in agents (they are hopeless!), and make sure you wear your running shoes! Or, find a real airline!

Quiero registrar una queja sobre su comida. Quiero decir que es la segunda vez que estoy mandando este mensaje.
Quiero por lo menos una respuesta, y quiero saber que proponen de hacer para que nadie se enferme a causa de la comida en el futuro.
Somos 4 viajeros quienes volamos con ustedes. Dos pasajeros volaron en su vuelo AM664 de regreso de la Cuidad de Mexico a San Francisco el dia Sabado, 26 de Abril. Dos de nosotros volaron en el mismos vuelo, AM664, CDMX-San Francisco tres dias despues, el dia 29 de Abril. Todos los cuatro comimos unos sandwiches de queso-hongos, y algo de ensalada que obviamente no hubieramos comido.
Ya para el dia Lunes, 28 de Abril, uno estaba con nauseas, fiebre, y vomitos, el segundo pasajero cayo mal con lo mismo el dia Martes, 29 de Abril.
Este produjo bastante inconveniencia, asi que esta pasajera, mi hija, estaba empezando un nuevo trabajo. La costo bastante angustia tener que quedarse en casa con fiebre y nausea su primer semana de un nuevo empleo.
Nosotros dos quienes volamos en el mismo vuelo AM664, CDMX-San Francisco, el dia Martes, 29 de Abril, sufrimos de los mismos sintomas 2 dias despues. Mi esposo, quien esta por cumplir sus 70 anos, sufrio 4 noches terribles, con dolores de barriga, diarrheas, y fiebre. Yo no sufri tanto, pero el hecho que yo tambien tenia algo de nausea el mismo dia no veo como coincidencia.
Si todos hubieramos estado expuesto a un virus al mismo tiempo, haria sentido que todos tuvimos los mismos sintomas.
Pero la evidencia que tengo es que todos estuvimos expuestos a la misma comida, 3 dias aparte, que estaba o contaminada o mal tratada, y esto es la responsibilidad de ustedes.
No tuvimos ningun problema con ningun otra comida en todo nuestro viaje en Mexico.
De hecho, hemos estado viajando en Mexico atraves de muchos anos, y tampoco hemos tenido problemas en todo este tiempo.
Me imagino que otros pasajeros tambien estuvieron afectados, si hayan quejado con ustedes o no, y si no cambien algo, otros tambien van a estar afectados, tal vez con muchas peores consequencias.
No se que remedios puedan ofrecerme, pero si no reciba respuesta, buscare los medios para quejar mas abiertamente en publico. No estoy tratando de sacar provecho; realmente lo que estoy buscando es alguna seguranza de que mejoren la situacion para pasajeros en el futuro.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the experience I recently had while traveling with Aeromexico and Delta. I am appalled by the lack of customer service and the inconvenience I faced during my trip, which has caused me both financial strain and significant distress.
On the day of my flight, I arrived at the airport with ample time to board exactly one hour before the scheduled departure. Despite there being no line at the check-in counter, I was refused boarding. When I approached the counter to inquire about rebooking, I was informed that I would be charged double for a new flight. I had no choice but to search for alternative flights myself, and fortunately, I was able to find one at a cheaper price.
However, neither Aeromexico nor Delta informed me that this change would cause me to lose my return flight. As a result, I was left stranded with significant additional expenses to cover my return journey. This has been an extremely costly and frustrating ordeal. Not only did I pay for a flight that was canceled without proper notification, but I also had to repurchase flights and incur other unexpected charges.
The entire experience has been unacceptable, and I feel that I was not treated fairly or with the respect that a paying customer deserves. I request that you look into this matter immediately and provide appropriate compensation for the additional expenses I incurred due to your airline's actions. I would also appreciate a thorough explanation of why I was not properly informed about the loss of my return flight and why such a lack of communication occurred.
I look forward to a prompt response and resolution to this matter. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Good afternoon,
I have been working with Delta on this case. They were working to issue me a refund for a flight we had to deplane and book with alternative airlines due to a mechanical issue with the airplane.
Delta acknowledged the issue and said they would issue a refund or flight credit to cover the cost of the alternate flight we had to take to not miss our transfer.
They have just responded and said it has to go through you first.
I am more than happy to forward along their correspondence.
Is this something you would be able to help out with?

My issue has been escalated. The agent suggested that he refund the ticket and that I buy a new ticket.
He was unable to refund me in Canadian dollars and suggested I call the number I had previously used to contact him. He said I ought to buy a new ticket and the old ticket would be cancelled and fully refunded.

Mexico Tourist Tax refund
I am a US citizen and a permanent resident of Mexico. I have had the Tourist Tax refunded several times in the past.
I recently, December 31, 2024, flew from AUS to MEX. Confirmation code: CWQBFA. Flight AM1685.
I sent a request for refund several days ago. I attached photos of my US passport as well as my Residente Permanente card.
The same photos I have sent in the past. Case number: 0503****.
I received a response from Fernando Saenz, a customer care representative. He stated that the photo of my residence card was too blurry and there was no expiration date on the residence card.
As I stated above, it is the same photo I have sent several times in the past, and received a refund of the tax. also, Residente Permanente is granted for life.
There is no expiration date.
I sent Sr. Saenz a new photo of the residence card and explained that there is no expiration for permanent residence in Mexico.
Case number; 0504****.
I have not heard from Sr. Saenz
Please aid me is receiving the refund of my tourist tax.

Mistreatment by gate staff in Mexico City.
We were mistreated by AereoMexico staff at Mexico City boarding gate. The company does not provide a phone number or website to file a compliant.
We received a web link that is not accessible any more. How do I corporate office to file a complaint?

I bought a round trip in aug leaving aug 20 from Manzanillo to Mexico city and Mexico city to Toronto Canada and was supposed to return on the 24 of august departing from Toronto 9am arriving in Mexico city at 14 hrs and leaving for Manzanillo same day at 18 hrs.
But since I got here { Canada } the departure time has changed but not only that I now have to spend the night in Mexico city and leave on the 25 for Manzanillo which is very inconvenient because it is very difficult for me due to my illness and my age, I have spoken with an agent in case they can change my flight for another day but was told there are no flights that make the connection same day from Mexico to Manzanillo, I would like to be compensated for the inconvenience loss of time and expenses to be incurred, so will someone contact me please, I have tried their email but it wont allow me to enter, just in case my reservation # is MWYSBT Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon.
You change my flight by a full day
My flight on Jan 11 Mazatlan was changes to Jan 10 with a 17 hour layover in Mexico City going on to Las Vegas. I need to be in Vegas around 3pm Jan 11.
This is not acceptable. Please call me 253 401 **** ASAP

I spoke with a representative who said his name was Peter and when I asked him about baggage fees he hung up on me without helping me.
Wrong charge
We purchased 4 extra luggages by internet unfortunately the application had duplicated our order, it is only when we paid that appeared total of 8. I tried desperately to call customer service no answer and today I got a response that it is entirely my responsibility.
I have asked them to issue an invoice no reply . Can you help ?

Train your personnel better about any kind of problem customers face when traveling on your airline.

If your flight was domestic, they require check-in two hours prior. If it was out of the country, three hours prior. You were at least one hour late, possibly two.
