My wife and I boarded Aeromexico on March 3rd. From Los Cabos to Mexico City and then to Toronto.
The flight to Mexico City was ok and seating arrangement was what we had chosen . When boarding in Mexico to Toronto, AS we were handing our boarding pass at the gate of course nothing unusual, until ''A MALE GATE ATTENDANT'' . Asked to see our tickets, and He then proceeded to change them at HIS own discretion!! Without asking us .
HERE YOU GO .. YOU may go ahead, he said! At one am our time ... WE are too old people ..I am 74 years old and WE don't have the energy to discuss it .
Assuming it is ok! WELL THE SEATS WERE HORRIBLE AND MY WIFE WITH HER ANXIETY AND SHE STARTED PANICKING DURING THE FLIGHT... WE ALERTED THE STEWARDESS, She simply smiled and she could not do anything! THIS IS NOT CORRECT !
WE HAVE HOMES BOTH IN MEXICO AND IN CANADA ,, AND WE HAVE NEVER FELT SO DISAPPOINTED AN AIRLINE AND ITS SERVICE...during the FLIGHT I WENT TO THE BACK GALLEY TO SEE IF SOMEONE COULD HELP US. ONE FLIGHT ATTENDANT WAS SLEEPING !!! IT IS AGAINST ALL FLIGHT LAWS (IATA). *** THIS AND IT IS AGAINST ALL FLIGHT SAFETY...WE EXPECT OUR FULL REFUND ASAP...

My husband went to take a flight with Aeromexico from Mexico Crossing, checkpoint. husband had money in jackets remove the money and they told him to put it in the bin and when the bin came out money was gone.
Location was Mexico City. And then my husband claimed for his money. They said that there was no money. when they saw him put it there.
It also happened to me. They went in my purse and took money out of my wallet, but I will be calling them and letting them know what checkpoint is doing. Airlines should be responsible of the workers and the worst part is the head person came in and said, check your pockets. It should be there being sarcastic..
whats the use of putting money in? and cameras surveillance systems when the corrupt one is the one thats running everything. its not the money its the disrespect that we go to their country spend our money and they do this.
I dont know what kind of background check Aeromexico makes for these people but obviously theyve been busted before because it came out in the news. Im not saying nothing that is not true.

It is ashamed that you wash your hands so easily with such a serious situation that is happening on your prestigious airline Aeromexico . Although it is not Aeromexico that is directly offering this support with the luggage of its passengers, I believe that to a certain extent you are responsible for the thefts that are happening and also complicit in the thefts with the company that you are hiring for such a support.
In my understanding this more often goes to an exaggerated point.
How easy it is for AeromΓ©xico to write policies and wash their hands of such a serious responsibility and do NOTHING despite the minimal security they have.
As I said, this is my first time traveling with AeromΓ©xico after many years following good recommendations from friends.
Unfortunately I am left with a very bitter taste in my mouth and with infinite distrust towards AeromΓ©xico.
Yes, I am a needle in a haystack with this complaint. I wish that all the people who go through this experience were not so reluctant and did more than bend their arms and lower their gaze.

I cancelled immediately By phone and email to customer service and asked for a refund. Very disappointed with their response Now even they dont answer my emails.
This shows customer value for the company.
Holding seniors' money and disrespecting them. Sorry to say this is no different than Rubbery putting a hand in retired people's pockets and holding what they have.
I hope someone here can hear and help me. Otherwise have no choice but to take this issue to the public (social communities).

After 10 days no reply from Aeromexico to my original e-mail. This is an additional indication on how Aeromexico treat their customers.
The reason I am writing is to express my disappointment with Aeromexico regarding my trip on January 3rd from Detroit to Monterrey. The direct flight was cancelled and my itinerary was changed at the Aeromexico counter.
I flew from Detroit to Mexico City and then from Mexico to Monterrey. Beside the fact that I had an additional 6 hours to my trip and that day I lost 4 hours at work, I was astonished when my travel agency sent me an email saying to call them because major changes were done to my returning flight to Detroit on January 19th.I found out that my flight was cancelled and they had to made a brand new reservation for that day. I didn't receive any communication from Aeromexico about the cancellation and if it wasn't for my travel agent I would have gone to Monterrey on the 19th of January to find out that I didn't have a place on the plane to return home. I don't know why you have a system like that in place but this is unacceptable and really shows how much you care about your customers.
I understand in real life there are problems but why when there is a itinerary change you have to mess whit the return flight?
After all my final destination didn't change and doesn't take a genius to understand that the person involved will eventually return home. and again all his happened without any communication to the customer, From now on I will try to avoid flying Aeromexico at all cost.

I flew from San Francisco to Zihuatanejo via Mexico City 67632**** and my checked suitcase was opened and a bottle of Gio mens eau de toilette in the original packaging was stolen. This was a gift I was bringing for a friend and I had to purchase a replacement at the Soriannas store for 2,649 pesos.
This is very upsetting to discover an item stolen from my checked bag entirely in the control of Aero Mexico from when I delivered my bags to the AM counter in SF until they appeared in Zihua airport.
I rented a car from Hertz at Zihua airport and was told another passenger on the same flight from Mexico City had a camera stolen from her suitcase.
How do I make a formal claim to the airline? I paid for a premium class ticket and had to wait 2.5 hours in my seat at SFO because an engine was not starting and I asked for a drink multiple times and was only allowed to drink water at room temperature poured into a plastic cup. Not even a soda or bottled water was offered me when I asked for a beer.
I was very excited to fly AM instead of Alaska but this experience has been very discouraging against trusting flying on your airline in the future. I was misled by the advertising for the benefits of premium class as they apply to international flights only.
What can you do to prevent what appears to be a rouge employee or TSA agent stealing property from baggage and do I have a recourse for compensation?

I am in Zihua and have yet to purchase a return flight.
Perhaps a credit or upgrade on my next flight to return to SF would be sufficient compensation. Please let me know.

Good afternoon,
During my most recent flight with Aeromexico my luggage and camera were completely destroyed. The zipper on the luggage was completely torn along with the handle on the suitcase which was broken off the frame.
My camera was broken into pieces with multiple scratches on the screen. My clothes were disheveled and appeared to be thrown back in.
I attempted to talk to the attendants at the Aeromexico terminal, but they were extremely rude and unprofessional. A gentleman went as far as to tell me "Sweetie you should not have put your camera in your luggage, this happens at all airlines." I am hoping that you could help me and point me in the right direction as to who I can contact about this issue.

On october 26, 2023 I was returning to Canada thru Mexico City to Montreal due to Hurricane Otis. I travelled with one (1) checked baggage but at the counter when paying for my ticket there was a suitcase on the scale which the clerk did not remove and I was charged for that piece of luggage, the amount charged to my credit card was 1800 pesos ($ 140.39 CAD).
The gentleman said he could not reverse that I had to deal with customer service which I have been trying to do since I returned to Canada. My e-ticket number is 139214****123 2.
My flight was from Mexico City to Montreal, flight # AM680 and I was in seat 11F. You have my credit card in your system so please credit the amount back to the credit card and notify of such.
